Photography – Toronto
My passion is black and white photography using traditional techniques such as film, large format cameras and my darkroom. With these, I can create hand coated platinum palladium images such as "Birch Grove" on Japanese Kozo paper. My images have been called "process art" as the process is as important to me as the final image. ( Look for the brush marks on my platinum palladium prints.) One distinctive element in my work is my love of texture which even affects the paper I choose to hand coat for printing.
Currently I am beginning to blend modern technology with historical techniques and am excited about where this might lead.
