Adorned Immortal is the creative offering of New York born, Los Angeles Based artist/designer Marilyn Hammer. A Self taught artists of many trades, Marilyn has been working diligently to create unique one of kind accessories that emanate the divine aspects of nature. To Construct her pieces she blends the skills of taxidermy,sculpture, and jewelry making. With the use of found artifacts, bones, feathers, stones, recycled fur and leather She fuses primitive tribal elements with Cutting edge designs.Resulting in extremely unique wearable art! Each piece is hand created with the intent to sanctify the lost life. At the root of Adorned Immortal designs, the belief is that adornment is art, as well as method of energetic communication, and healing. Wearing these Adornments enables you to honor the dead, while carrying on the strength and spirit of the natural world. Marking the nobility of the mind, body, spirit, and animal connection. * I do not condone the commercial slaughter of animals for fashion! No animals are ever intentionally harmed or killed to create my pieces! Most all of the materials i use have died from natural causes. Some are byproducts of Industry and would be disposed of if not utilized. My work allows the animals to embody a new purpose. Extending there energy beyond natural expectancy.*
