Film – Boise

I am a 23-year-old filmmaker from southwestern Idaho and have been studying film and video since the age of 15. After winning a few film festivals and graduating as Valedictorian from Fruitland High School, I studied at Boise State University on a full-ride scholarship. Four years later, I graduated with a BA in Mass Communication/Journalism, certificate in Cinema & Digital Media Studies, and a minor in Political Science. I currently work full-time as a Visual Information Specialist with the Bureau of Reclamation and spend my free time working on various film and video projects in Boise. Generally I work as a producer, assistant director, or editor, but I write and direct as well. STZ, the film I submitted to RAW, was written by my Seattle-dwelling cousin, Betty Kim Ryan, and her screenwriting partner, David R. Larson.
