What can you say about a band whose members have performed with music legends, a band who received music awards and headlined festivals before their debut album, a band who released their debut album on Clear Channel station 104.5FM during a prime time slot and has received airplay on numerous stations? The Parachuting Apostles combine old school dynamic , infectious rock n roll music with a modern twist for today's audience. TPA combine modern rock, blues and a little jazz to create songs that cross genre , gender and age to create the " New Mainstream" in music. The Parachuting Apostles are based in The Philadelphia Tri-State Area. The band has performed in many of the areas' top venues including World Cafe Live and Hard Rock Cafe. TPA has crossed over from the tradtional music veunes to being popular among the skate park crowds and a mainstay with the art and fashion crowd in Philadelphia through Philly Raw Artists. The band members have between 10-12 years experience each, which is considerable for guys in their early 20's. They have performed and recorded with such legends as Jon Anderson,Alice Cooper, Napolean Murphy Brock, Chuck Treece and many more. They have played in cities across the US and even in Germany. The guys also performed on the nationally released soundtrack for the movie ROCK SCHOOL. The Parachuting Apostles self titled debut album, which was released 6/26 live on Clear Channel Station 104.5FM (Phila), has received airplay on various stations: 93.3 WMMR -podcast 97.3 WRVV (Pa) 91.3 WLVR(Pa) 93.7 WSTW(Pa) XPN2 (Pa) 95.1FM WZZO (Pa) 104.5FM WRFF (Pa) The Parachuting Apostles were awarded three 2010 WSTW Hometown Heroes Music Awards. TPA were awarded ; best music video, best bass player and best rock song of "Limb from Limb". TPA have showcased at The Chameleon Club during the 2011 Launch Music Festival and Sat 5/7 for The Lehigh Valley Music Conference. TPA had the honor of meeting music icon Sid Bernstein at LVMC. The Parachuting Apostles combine; youth , craftmanship , marketability and experience beyond their years to form the quintessential rock n' roll band for the changing times.
