Visual Art – Pittsburgh

As a self-taught artist living in Pittsburgh, Pa, I try to dive into my creative side each day. Constantly learning, I am not afraid to explore new ideas, use new techniques, and work outside of my comfort zone along the way. The goal is to express myself efficiently in various forms of art. Having worked on portrait drawings for friends and family for years, I recently decided to explore and nurture my entire creative side. Using textures, various mediums, no brushes, and Jackson Pollock as my inspiration, abstract painting has quickly become my favorite form of expression. As a photographer, I work to capture the city during everyday life from uncommon perspectives. Using no more than a few pencils, portrait drawing is still my greatest passion. Each new face brings new challenges with new opportunities to improve my technique. Most portraits are completed upon request only.
