We are a couple artist team. We do our art together as a pair. It started with Michelle, who enjoyed theraputically painting with acryclic paints and creating various forms of abstract art. She had just started experimenting with spray paint, a friend had intrigued her by showing her how to spray paint planets in colorful patterns and bright vibrant consistency. Rick decided to try art because Michelle wanted him to keep her company in her personal hobby and secretly hoped it would become his hobby too. Well, her wish came true. Today , Rick and Michelle are found on their porch nightly doing their routine of spray painting (Rick creating original stencils and patterns of anything you can name eyeballs, skulls,and brains) mixing acrylics usually within the same painting. Paintings are of various sizes and styles. Some can take up an entire wall others are small canvas sized. The favorite style is to have each person start their own piece of work then halfway through simply switch and see what the other person comes up with to complete the piece and deem it finished. Somehow without spoken words, the brush knows where to guide and a story or message is completed that the original storyteller needed their partner to get the meaning out. We call it soulmates.:)
