Achilleion is a straight up rock-n-roll band located in Las Vegas. One of our missions is to bring back true rock music to the masses.
Lead guitarist Caleb Chidester brings his heavy Led Zeppelin influence to the overall style of Achilleion's songwriting. Drummer Jimmy Weitz brings the Hammer of the Gods down with earth shattering rhythm. Finally, out in front of it all is lead singer Mandy Poolo, with absolute power, emotion, and soul, sirens inspirational and powerful lyrics from her vocal chords to the audience.
Achilleion has recorded and released their first self-titled album featuring 7 songs such as "Say Something", "You Don't", and "Boogie Tune", which have been played on many online stations and now available on iTunes.
Achilleion has performed in many Vegas local bars such as Tommy Rocker's and Double Down.
We are Achilleion get ready to rock.
We leave you with some quotes from our fans:
goatghost: WOW!!! Just totally WOW!!! You guys sound INCREDIBLE...vocals, guitar, bass, and drums. I ***LOVE*** the Zeppelin-influenced guitar. Lead vocals are AWESOME...emotion, soul, pitch, vibrato, breath control, head voice, and a range that would require an oxygen mask for most singers...lol Drums are super tasteful and the bass is super solid. I'll definitely have to check you guys out live, sometime.

Rock on the harder side such as Heart, which brings up the reason I started to comment. Achilleion's style of rock drives home a solid rhythm much like the Jam Bands of the 70s and strong vocals which makes me think of one of the best woman fronted rack bands of, I think, all times. I have multiple Heart songs on my ipod and Achilleion will be added. One band I think you should give a listen to. — Tommy TBones Cramer Owner 440.com, 440music.com
