Raised in Miami, Florida but born in Brooklyn, New York on July 24th, 1984 to Barbara and Desmond Lynch, both from Guyana, South America. Kesha Lynch first gained popularity as co-founder and lead designer of iCan-D, LLC. As a designer, she worked to solidify the iCan-D brand within the Caribbean community through dance and carnival costuming. She went on as an independent designer to create her own fashion-line, AhSek in October 2014. Taught to sew by her mother, Lynch developed a strong interest in fashion early on. Her artistic abilities were further sharpened and nurtured by her high school art teacher, the late Ms. Quintilliani. Born in Brooklyn but raised in Miami, Florida, Lynch wanted her fashion line to reflect her Afro-Caribbean ancestry along with her love for Caribbean carnival pageantry, marrying the two in a fashion well aware of its own uniqueness. Her signature, “African Graffiti,” a colorful array of hand-painted shapes and designs is reminiscent of her own multicultural personal journey. This gives her free reign to translate her own mindful art into unique prints that tell a story of their own. Kesha takes inspiration from everywhere and everything and she combines it with her own individual style, personality, and flavor, thereby producing Ahsek. Her vision is to unite fashion forward individuals who are young, fancy and free. With a wide range of separates and accessories, Kesha hopes to appeal to women who believe in the eternal artist who is ever thinking and ever creating, waiting for
