Visual Art – Dallas - Fort Worth

I was born in Torreon, Mexico in 1983 and soon moved overseas and spent most of my youth in Spain and Germany. My interest in art began at an early age and grew into a passion in my late teens. After serving eight years in the U.S Air Force as a Civil Engineer and Recruiter I chose to move to San Angelo, TX to be present in my daughter's life. In less than a year I opened the Vino Dipinte Art Gallery and began my artist career (2012). In three short years I completed completed a bachelor's degree in e-Markeinting and established a firm presence in the local art community. I have been featured as an emerging artist in Visual Language International Art Magazine, and published in American Art Collector magazine. I held a sell-out solo-show in November 2013 where I exhibited over 20 portrait paintings. My art has been described as "electric", "vibrant", and expressive. I continue to explore various themes and insist on not limiting my work to one genre. My most recent series of work consists of nine paintings aptly named "The San Angelo Series" after the city where I currently reside. The series is a focus on local buildings and areas unique to the city. Seven of these were acquired by the City of San Angelo and are currently displayed in City Hall as a permanent collection. I am now aiming at reaching areas outside my city like Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio.
