Alexa Leeb

Alexa Leeb Industrial Design is featuring partly up-cycled materials from luxury boat glazing to aluminium, then adding layers with stainless steel fitting and crystals. Enhancing and refining raw industrial elements into hand crafted pieces with an innovative twist. How did it all started: I studied fashion and industrial design in Europe. Firstly in Vienna, Austria where I was born. Through my university I was granted a scholarship for abroad studies which brought me to Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and even to St. Martins School of Art in London. After graduating I went on and also did a Bachelor of Education. Always drawn to theater and film I landed my first job in the costume department and went on in the props room for film production for indie & art movies. Loved it. Continued with Production manager for clothing company and finally back to design as Lead design teacher of the fashion department. AND then it all changed as out of an idea a friend and I started a independent fashion label in Europe manly dressing Dance theater companies and selling small collections in Art galleries. This brought me to Australia and back to designing. This time the new adventure is called ALexa Leeb Industrial Designs and focuses on up-cycled materials for fashion accessories/jewelry.
