Photography – Connecticut

I grew up homeschooled, me and my brothers were constantly creating new worlds to take us away from the mundane. I eventually realized I couldn\'t live without that creativity and graduated from UCONN with a degree in Art, a concentration in photography, and a degree in English which I use to pursue creative writing. While I was in school I also had the privilege to study abroad in Florence which clarified and focused my work, it was the pivotal moment that most artists have that starts to define your work and work ethic. Florence was the first body of serious work i produced that i am proud of and still stand behind. After i came home from Italy I took quite a few metal and ceramic sculpture classes as well as photo classes, there is something about the constant physical and mental growth and activity that Art requires, its thrilling to have such a tactile voice in our world.
