Visual Art – San Francisco

I am currently a senior at Dominican University of California majoring in Studio Art with a minor in Art History. I had always been creative, but it wasn’t until I began to battle a drug addiction that I took a serious interest in art. As a troubled teen starting to suffer from anxiety and depression, losing myself in creating a piece offered me an escape from my mind. At seventeen, I attended an inpatient rehabilitation program, where I was not only gifted sobriety, but also a passion for helping others like myself discover the healing powers of art. After graduation, I am interested in pursuing a career in surface pattern design, where I would be able to continue exploring and expanding my creativity.
