Currently Dallas based, Ashlee “Allee” Long was born in Shreveport, Louisiana. Her love for creating and designing was a prominent part of her childhood. After attending college at Grambling State University, Allee began her career as a Recreation Therapist. She was able to employ her love of art and creating to assist people with disabilities improve their quality of life. Over the years, she made handcrafted gifts for family and friends. In 2012, Allee began to design leather accessories. This would lead to the creation of Allee Long Designs. Her line includes purses, clutches, earrings, belts, statement necklaces and corsets. Each item she makes has a piece of her sewn into it. Allee’s creations are like a gourmet meal: they are made patiently, with attention to detail, from the most exquisite ingredients, and with love.
