Hi, my name is Susan Tosches-Deneau. I have always had a passion for shopping for amazing vintage finds as well as redesigning old things into “new again” creations ...so it’s no wonder that Altered Nation was born in 2006. Creating unique and visually stimulating pieces out of recycled items is what I love to do. I studied fashion design at the International Academy of Design & Technology where I earned my Associates degree. I have worked on various fashion projects and with many different artistic teams throughout the years which has given me a wide variety of experience. I am a lifelong artist and designer who couldn't imagine a day without dreaming up new ideas. I am inspired by fashion, music, peace, humor, vintage/retro styles, and pop culture. Altered Nation is a collectable design line that offers one of a kind fashions, accessories, art & gifts worldwide. I specialize in utilizing reclaimed materials to create unique fashions. I also offers quality handpicked vintage. Supplies are often from stores that benefit various charities so my clients can feed double good about their purchases. I love what I do and I love sharing it with others.
