Amanda Carrete

Amanda Carrete, Hollywood, CA based makeup artist. Knew since a very young age, she was meant to do something in life that allowed her to use her creativity and passion for art. Being born into a family full of artists, growing up performing in dance recitals, school plays, and participating in every art class possible. A life with expression through art has always been important to Amanda. In high school she went on to work as an assistant in her grandmothers salon, learning everything and anything about the industry and how to run a business in beauty. Being from a small town in Lake Tahoe, NV she had big dreams to eventually move to Los Angeles and be the makeup artist that she has always wanted to be. Now at 24, Amanda has been making that dream come true! She graduated from Elegance International, Hollywood (2010) and has been working on various projects since then. Such as photoshoots, runways, short films, and events involving collaborations with bebe for their launch parties every season in the year of 2012, along with many other designers. She has also had the opportunity to work with champion kick boxer Julie Kitchen and has had some of her work featured on Vogue Italia. Amanda strives to accomplish her goals and continues to chase after her dream as a makeup artist and a business woman in the beauty industry. Most importantly she wants to inspire others to feel beautiful inside and out.
