Visual Art – Boston

I am a person who loves art, family, friends, and running. I have always been that doodler in the classroom who has gotten in trouble occasionally for drawing my attentions to art instead of the lesson being taught. But drawing has always been the way I think through things, and understand the world around me. I am just a girl from a small town who is humbled by little things, close family and friends. It is because I live in a small town that I wanted to go to art school in Boston, and throw myself out of my comfort zone. After high school I got accepted into Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and there I majored in painting. The variety of artists I met in the city was very exciting, and inspiration never drained. I graduated MassArt in 2009. Today I am living back in my small town, because it was hard finding anything in the art field when I graduated. I have been working at an Elementary for 3 years now as a 1-1 with special education kids, it is a very rewarding job. But, I am apart of a local art guild, and I constantly show my art in the surrounding towns. I am blessed to have a studio at home where I can just grab a brush, and let the creativity just flow.
