Between roles and auditions, Amanda earned her degree from California State University, Northridge and became a board certified music therapist. In 2008, Amanda was a top 35 finalist for Nashville Star on NBC. She released her debut, solo album, "The Road to Beautiful," on iTunes in 2009. She has appeared in several national, theatrical tours, including the role of the clean-up woman in "JD Lawrence presents The Clean Up Woman" (2010), which opened at the Beacon in New York, featured the fabulous Jackee Harry, and sold out houses nationwide. She joined Tate Music Group for the release of her second album, "The Simple Things" in 2013. She recently appeared alongside Eric Roberts and Patrick Davis in "In The Name of God", directed by Kevan Otto.
