Visual Art – Houston

I really became more artistic during high school when I was inspired by a friend and motivated by an art teacher to pursue AP art. My teacher Ms. McClusky, really helped guide me and realize my potential, and also pushed me towards submitting to competitions and creating a portfolio. I then pursued a Studio Art minor at the University of Houston where I was able to hone my skills in the various types of media I liked working with. During college is when I was able to create some of my best pieces. I also worked as a commission artist during those 4 years. I'm currently in medical school at Dallas, TX, so my time is very limited and have only been able to continue doing some commission work over the past 3 years, but none really from my own mind. I'm excited to say that I finally have some time to get back into this again.
