***Thank you to all who voted for me in the 2011 RAWards, I am THRILLED that I made it all the way to the TOP 5 of Hollywood and got to showcase in the semi-finals!!!*** I don’t try to define my art for anyone else, but rather let the audience decide for themselves what they see and how it makes them feel. As I go through the creative process I believe the art becomes what it wants to be, and I am merely the instrument through which it is created. I paint both abstract and figurative works and love the exuberance of bright colors against a dark backdrop. I am a self-taught artist and while I think all education is wonderful, I think EVERYONE should paint (or do some kind of art) whether they have been formally taught or not. I have been very fortunate to have my work shown at various galleries, cafes, salons and shops in the Los Angeles area. I have also had several pieces rented and sold as set decorating on Film and Television productions. My family and friends are my muses; everything about living a life filled with their influence inspires my creativity. Love Art, Live to Create

My husband, my daughter, the baby on the way (I'm due in March!), my 3-legged dog, my cat, my family and friends. Oh, and PAINTING, of course!
