Amelia is choreographer/dancer in Melbourne and proud co director/owner for new entertainment company Phoenix Productions Australia. If you are looking for entertainment for your next event or to collaborate on a project please contact Amelia via her details or at [email protected] She began her elite level training at The Australian Ballet School and went on to train at APO Arts Academy (Dance World), achieving her Advanced Diploma of Dance and Certificate in Musical Theatre. During her training she was awarded a number of scholarships and the school’s Distinction Award. Amelia is a company dancer for Ignite the Dark, a jazz dance company based in Melbourne. Amelia choreographed and performed for Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell, was the assistant choreographer/dancer in an episode of Miss Phryne Fisher’s Murder Mysteries and has also been seen on ABC's 'The Doctor Blake Mysteries'. As a choreographer, she has created pieces for Make - A- Wish Foundation, The Entertainment Store, The Singers In Waiting & Father Bob Maguire Foundation, as well as various events around Melbourne. Performance Credits Include: Eclipse Australian tour (Anthony Street), Sesame Street Singapore tour (Stone Productions), The Colour of Night (Ignite the Dark), Chuggington Singapore tour(Life Like Touring), Pororo Singapore Tour (Stone Productions ), Hairy Maclary Australian tour (Garry Ginivan Attractions), Cat In The Hat Australian tour (Garry Ginivan Attractions), Looney Tunes Australian tour (Marilla Productions) Elmo’s Wolrd Tour Australian tour (Life Like Touring), Anyone Can Whiste (Magnormos), Flinders Street (Magnormos) and Hello Dolly! (Magnormos). Amelia has also been a back up dancer for Usain Bolt in Nitro Athletics, danced in a My Chemist Warehouse TVC for Healthy Care. Art Vs. Science’s music video ‘Higher’ and ‘Radioactive Dance Clip’ for Blue Star Productions. Amelia has performed with Melbourne Tap Dance at various freelance events around Melbourne. Amelia also loves to share her knowledge & passion of dancing onto the next generation of performers, or anyone who has a drive to dance. You will find her teaching at Elite Schools around Melbourne & workshops around Australia & Singapore.
