I began my musical journey at the age of 13 when I first decided I would like to learn to play the guitar. I had dreams of playing lead guitar for bands such as Metallica and Pantera, however my musical adventure took a turn at age 15. After the singer I used to accompany busking in Crown St mall broke it to me she no longer wanted to busk in the streets of Wollongong, I had no option but to learn to sing myself. I took up lessons and began writing and recorded my first EP at the age of 16 (with many more to follow over the years). For years following I played gigs in and around Wollongong and Sydney, and won a few singer/songwriting competitions until I lost my voice due to a bad bout of glandular fever. For 4 years my guitar has been put away in it's dusty case and my vocal chords have needed a makeover but Raw Wollongong will be my first gig in so many years, and I couldn't be more excited!
