ANIMATO

Los Angeles band ANIMATO is a high-energy, electro dance machine comprised of Joey Medina (Vox/Keys/Guitar), Steve Mungarro (Bass/2nd Vox/Programming), Jason Ywahu (Drums), Rexelle (Keys/Guitar/2nd Vox/Percussion), and Raul Martinez (Guitar/Synths). The band formed in late 2012 in the wake of the breakup of previous LA bands \"Ashbury\" and \"The Tender Box,\" who\'s various members decided to join forces, as well as bring on 2 new recruits. The result of this collaboration is a new project that encompasses a myriad of influences infused with 80s Electro, Funk, and Britpop.
