Anna Tiani is a Croatian-Italian Songwriter, composer, recording artist . At the age of four she joined a musical group and institution called “Mini Cantanti”, and that’s when she first fell in love with music, since then she has been performing on various concerts and festivals. Soon after she started learning the piano at the elementary music school. In 2007, Anna was awarded a full time scholarship at the prestigious United World College of the Adriatic in Italy. For the time there she had the marvelous opportunity to study with her music teacher Stefano Sacher and that’s where she started exploring her voice and composition. In the Summer 2010 Anna began her first semester at the Berklee College of Music as a Vocal Performance Major. In her time at Berklee thus far, with a strong ambition for Jazz, Pop-Soul, Alternative styles Anna has been exploring and working on projecting her musical and vocal personality. Summer 2012, a group of musicians, friends have come together, to form a new musical idea and expression, featuring 6 talented Berklee students. This sextet came together to give life to new compositions and discover sounds that were born in the style of jazz, pop-soul influenced by all of the members bringing colors from Croatia, Italy, France, Morocco, Greece and finally developed in Boston. With Bass, Drums, Guitar and Piano supporting voice and saxophone the sextet strives to bring musical ideas to a new level and to surprise and invent new colors and sounds.
