Anthony G DelBuono was born in New Britain Connecticut, Raised by his Mother and Father in Southington, Connecticut the eldest of three younger sisters. His passion for Art has been in his heart and hands from birth from as far back as he can remember he was always drawing anything and everything. He spent many years and numerous hours pouring out his imagination on various mediums. With no true formal training other that of summer Art Camps as a youth. His talents where tucked away and not harnessed until High School and inspired by fellow artist and Art Teacher Ralph Grimaldi who taught Anthony that art is “one’s own vision of anything”. Shortly after, Anthony won numerous awards for Artist of the month and Artist of the year at Southington High School. Mr. Grimaldi had Anthony try pottery, pen and ink, dyes, painting with acrylics and oils and a variety of awards poured in, winning a Scholastic Arts Award for a painting. Anthony had planned to pursue a career in the Arts but “life” had other plans and finances pushed him into a career path into the Military. It did not stop him from his passion though he continued to draw and paint while in Basic Training, Anthony drew the Platoon mascot and proceeded and painted a mural in the Company’s Barrack Game Room. Anthony also was drawing sketches for his fellow soldiers for locker dressings or Tattoo needs. Moving into further training Anthony created and painted two more murals at Battalion Headquarters and in the Honor Hall Flag room and he produced a cover for HUMVEE maintenance SOP. Throughout the years, Anthony continued to draw for a variety of things and or reasons. But now after all this time he has decided to bring his gift from God to some purpose in life and promote and move his expressions’ out into the world. He had recently discovered his new found love of digital mediums and rekindling his passion for painting. He looks forward to moving his creations in a variety of flavors and an array of mediums. He is one Artist to keep your eye on in the years to come. He has recently acquired his this site and watch his portfolio grow, his passion for abstract has been defined as “no rules no boundaries’” in which he has taken simple fundamental to become a mission statement…
