Argel Rojo is a multidisciplinary artist. He was born in Mexico City. His career started in film school. His short films and documentaries have been focused on the gay life before social media.
He worked in the Editorial industry as Editor-in-chief of the gay magazine Betún. He left Mexico to live in Seoul and Bangkok, where he worked photographing gay people and doing editorial photo shoots for Betún. In 2015 He came to Los Angeles to move in with his now husband, they met in a dating gay app.
Recently he's been working doing, photography, fashion videos and painting.
