Accessories – St. Louis
I am an eco fashion designer of accessories and more from the Midwest specializing in hand crafted renewable fabrics. I design luxury accessories that let the wearer explore style through color , texture, and one of a kind works of fashion as unique as the person wearing it.
I am self taught in the world of fiber arts. I started sewing at 6 years old at my grandmothers side. As a teenager and through college I explored many forms of art through random classes in college I could fit in my schedule. After college, I took on photography. I later settled back into design through the world of felting. Felting is an ancient art form and is made from soap, water, wool and labor. The result is a one of a kind, strong, durable fabric that can be stiff as a board or light as a feather.
As a designer, I work with natural fabrics - silk, wool, linen, and cotton. I also work with upcycled fabric I find at thrift shops and other venues to create one of a kind wearable works of eco fashion.
