Tell us about yourself.
I grew up in New York, dropped out of Art school to join the Marine Corps after September 11th

How did you first get started making art?
I don’t know. I just always did… maybe, not paying attention in school.. sketching instead of taking notes...

From where do you draw inspiration for your work?
Everywhere… (cheesy.. I know). I’m constantly surprised with what inspires me.

What do you love most about what you do?
When other people tell me why they like my stuff.. that’s my favorite! I like anything that is different. I like when someone takes something so simple and clean, and makes it rough and dirty.

Medium of choice?
Acrylic.

What sort of techniques do you most like working with?
I don’t know if I have a style ... I just try to make it cool

Are there any artists or art movements, past or present, that strongly inform and influence your work?
Pop Art and Surrealism.  

Any previous exhibitions/collaborations that you are particularly proud of?
I donate a painting every year for the silent auction at the annual Human Rights Campaign Gala in Las Vegas.
