My name is Charlisa Murriel and I am a local visual artist who currently resides in Memphis, Tennessee. I was formally trained throughout grade school at A Performing Arts Academy (APAC) in my hometown of Jackson, Mississippi. I continued creating and painting as a hobby throughout the years and eventually started selling art from the walls of Downtown Candle Company located in the heart of downtown Memphis. I'm also a full time store manager of a retail store here in Memphis so fashion has a huge influence on my art when it comes to textures and colors.
