Visual Art – San Diego

BIO: Aline Spellmeier is a contemporary Brazilian artist. She studied design in the Southern beauties of Brazil. She began her artistic journey at a very young age and successfully presented her first exhibition when only nineteen years old at the Gerir Gallery. Filled with the desire to share her passion worldwide; Aline was in search of new inspirations. She then moved to San Diego in 2000 where she fell in love with its exquisite nature and beauty. While embracing the Southern California lifestyle, she worked at the EC Gallery in San Diego where she expanded her artistic knowledge in addition to the excellent marketing and business skills. Over the years, her work caught the eyes of Alex Smith- the San Francisco Quarterback and Craig Decker – “Spike” the creator of “Beavis and Butt Head”; both have commissioned her. It is through her work that Aline exposes how powerful the idealism of elegance and sensuality can be expressed through someone’s personal revelation of its own body, figure, and spirituality that transcends into abstract expressionism and realism. Her fascination towards human figure is explained through the strong and powerful “shapes, shades of color, lines, volume, and shadows captured by every movement exposed to different lightning.” Recently, Spellmeier has participated at the “Raw Natural Born Artist” Art Show at the Ivy Hotel, the “Infusion” Art Show presented at Stingaree and Hard Rock Café Hotel, followed by the “Detour” Art Show at the Kava Lounge.
