Born & raised in Texas. Fullerton College, Fine Arts 1966 in S. California. Studied under old world master sculptors & painters, 1st gallery showing in 1972, Abstract Expressionism. Influences: Kandinsky, Dali, Reinhardt, Rothko; synthesizing own style from lessons in nature. Home & studio in New Orleans destroyed in Katrina flooding in 2005. Awarded an emergency grant by The Gottlieb Foundation in 2008 to put together a new studio. Recently sold the commissioned acrylic sculpture titled `Gyropsyche`, presently working on a variant forms in stone and wood. Slowly compiling a modest volume of poetry with abstract illustrations.
