Self-titled as a \"Motivational Lifestyle Artist”, QueeNe (ARThyself) is a self-taught artist/designer who is passionately committed and inspired by the youth/community to utilize art as a tool and promote it\'s unlimited achievements when incorporated into our everyday lives.“Out of her 3 girls, my mother has always described me as a nurturer and the \'different one\'; however, I was late to embrace my unique-self and I did not realize the advantages of my natural talents until later. Growing up within a close-knit Washington, DC neighborhood, I enjoyed every bit of my fun-filled youth and gained early a value of community. As a child, sketching and coloring were my favorite pastime hobbies, so it’s no surprise that I enjoy using the basic elements and principles of design to help restore cultural consciousness, expand common bonds, and motivate the distinct beauty of all creations. During college I studied Home Economics and Fashion Merchandising; My artistic skills and interests includes: customized space decor, apparel, and accessories. It is always my great pleasure to mix colors and various mediums that invoke intense moods and couture looks, especially when captivating the youth. Mentoring provides me with gifts of understanding that children are creative reflections of us; consequently through self-accountability we are responsible for whom they mature to be, and failing is never considered an option.
