Visual Art – Reno
Alex Fleiner is a self-taught mixed-media artist from Reno, Nevada. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Nevada, Reno, and is also the owner of his graphic and website design company Fleiner Designer.
By combining skills from graphics programs with his passion for aesthetics and design elements, Alex continues to create and mature his relationship with art on both professional and personal realms. After working intimately with oil paint for his series “The First Year”, Alex has transitioned to spray-paint, India-ink, acrylic and other mediums of choice to construct and harbor his current body of work.
His focus involves mingling and blending the rational calculations of a computer program with organic elements carefully chosen to represent human experience, and thus human potential.
Alex currently works full-time as a graphics editor, as well as creates fulfilled-time as an alchemist of art in the making.
