Greetings, I am Christy Dedeluk, newly wed, South Carolina native, currently residing in Nashville, TN. I fell in love with art as a child in Miss Tammy\'s art class, and knew by junior year of high school I wanted to share this passion with others. As a graduate of Lander University with a Masters in the Arts of Teaching, I began educating high school students in the subject of art at age 22. Before college, I considered myself a realistic painter/drawer, but soon realized from valuable constructive criticism, that I could combine realism and abstraction to create my best pieces. As I\'ve matured as an individual and an artist, I have grown to appreciate and anxiously await the season changes we experience in the South. I love the hot sun on my face at the South Carolina coast in the summers and breathing in the crisp mountain air of the fall and winters in Tennessee. Within the last 3 years, I have honed in on painting the beauty of nature. I attempt to capture and abstract what the human mind might see while taking a walk, looking down at the feet.
