Visual Art – Houston
I am a self taught artist. Art for me is all about the process, the journey, about transcending myself and not worrying about what the end result will be. This process of art has evolved me in ways no technique would have let me. The strong connection I feel with myself, with nature and with the universe is what is most precious to me. And creating art has led me to this moment.
My work has been changed in the course of two years. These days the medium I love working with is pen and ink and acrylic. My acrylic work is mostly abstract while pen and ink is very detail oriented. Painting and upcycling beer bottles is my way of preventing more waste from going to the landfill. I feel any object around us can be transformed into a beautiful piece of art! In a few words, I can describe my art to be intuitive, meditative and full of love and joy. I can say I am most free, calm and peaceful when I am creating something.
I believe there are no mistakes in art, there is only human\"ness\" to it that we sometimes try to hide but need not. I never thought about selling my
art but now it just feels right and I want to see where this journey takes me!
