Mavis Taylor

I received an AA in Art from Los Angeles Southwest College in 2003. Creating art, for me, is a journey down the serpentine river of the hidden mystery and divinity of life and I want viewers to come with me. It is important to me that they get the meaning they want from my art and not MY meaning. Inspiration for my art comes from visions, dreams, other peoples art, and nature, to name a few. I use mixed media including acrylic and oil paints, air-dry and polymer clay figurines, and more. My figurines are created freehand.
