My love for bright colors and surrealistic imagery started early on. As a young child, I was inspired by the bright lights, billboards, and theaters of NYC, as well as the psychedelic band posters my parents had up in the house. However, my passion for art sparked unexpectedly years later when one small drawing on my bedroom wall quickly developed into a four wall mural. Fed by an urge to escape high school life, I surrounded myself with a world all my own. After high school, I graduated from Sonoma State University where I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting. Now I continue to develop my art full time at my studio, located in my hometown of Fairfax, California. You can see more of my oil paintings on my website at

I am most intrigued by the blend between reality and imagination. The way our surroundings, memories, and subconscious mind all come together to form the truest representation of each life experience. I work to capture this fusion in my paintings, and I compose them as if they are a moment in time, where all the different forces present in that moment are layered into one visual plane. The artists whom have most inspired me are Henri Magritte, Jeff Koons, and Alphonse Mucha.

I love how RAW helped me to get my work out to a new audience. It is refreshing to share my work with different people and hear there thoughts on what my paintings mean to them. Everyone I worked with at RAW was extremely positive and encouraging. I made a lot of great connections during my shows, and just had a blast being a part of such a creative environment. I even met a few fellow artists who I have continued to show with and become friends with. I love RAW!

Like all women, chocolate makes my world go round. I am also greatly inspired by the love and encouragement my family and friends give to me and my art. To have their support makes my world go round even in the toughest of times. Artistically, when a viewer is connected and inspired by one of my paintings, I feel a sense of purpose that motivates me to keep creating and never stop.
