Visual Art – Omaha
Ashley Charron was born a traveler, moving from place to place her entire childhood. She currently calls Lincoln, Nebraska her home, where she is a senior art student at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. She always had an interest in art, but it was not until college that she pursued the field. As a musician, she is a fan of bending the rules. This became apparent in her artwork when she began to paint on unique surfaces such as: car hoods, glass, plexiglass, and drum heads. Ashley’s recent works tend to revolve around the male figure. Her artwork pushes the envelope with bright colors, broken glass, and edgy content.
