I find imagery that I like and put my own twist on the subject at hand. I like to add a lot of texture in my work and experimenting with color combinations. I\'m a big fan of drips and strategic splatters to balance my work when it calls for it. A lot of times I\'ll work with the same image more than once and challenge myself to see how different I can make it look. Being from Nashville i tend to gravitate around a lot of local architecture and cityscapes. My floral paintings are exciting to create due to the combination of styles and techniques i use to mimic natures dynamic mixture of color and texture.
