Ava-mae is a Songwriter, Artist, Performer & Entrepreneur. Her Career began as a background singer for Arista Records, performing with signed acts such as, Blu Cantrell, Ja Rule, Inner Circle, Wayne Wonder & Third World - appearing on \"Live at the Apollo\", MTV Awards, Lady of Soul Train Awards & Dick Clark\'s Rockin\' New Year\'s Eve. She has written for labels; Capitol Records, Universal Records & CP Records. Ava is the owner of Pinktastik Button Co. and Ava-mae Music LLC.
Her evolution as an artist now includes visual art. Ava has a deep love for pop culture and story telling through her art. She is a free thinker who believes in using her art to highlight social injustices and important issues or ideologies through a pop format. Ava is a resident artist of Vino Gallery in Wynwood, Miami Fl. She was recently featured in The Bayshore Block Magazine and was also an exhibitor in the 2014 Miami River Art Fair for Art Basel week and an Exhibitor in the Habatat Galleries\' 2014 Art Basel Exhibition.
