Visual Art – Adelaide

BAY has lived in Adelaide her whole life, travelling often as her entire family is spread across the UK, America and the Pacific. Her work explores her Polynesian ancestry which was unknown until she recently began to discover family she never knew existed. Mental health has also played an important part in forming her easily recognisable abstract style, with a focus on identity and the ever present question of ‘where do I belong?’ BAY has previously exhibited at RAW Adelaide, and has been part of three group exhibitions as part of the South Australia Living Artists Festival 2016. She was also a finalist for The Advertiser Contemporary Art Prize this year.
