Accessories – Riverside

Hello! My name is Deborah McClain and I am the legs of beadZombie. I take care of marketing, sales, etc. but the real talent and ultimate star of the show is my amazing Grandmother who is the head and the heart of the operation. Bead Zombie is a nickname my Grandfather gave to my Grandmother one day while they were out perusing boutiques and she had completely disappeared. He found her nose deep inside a bead shop around the corner, out of sight. My Grandfather said my Grandmother had instinctively gone toward the beads like a zombie to brains. The Bead Zombie\'s real name is Ella Sue. She is a skilled and creative artist who uses beads, crystals, wires, whatever else she can get her hands on, and a little magic to rework vintage jewelry - resurrecting it from the dead. All original works contain at least and element of vintage findings if not entirely made of repurposed vintage accessories and beads...how very green of the Zombie! Inland Empire born and bred; Ella grew up in the San Bernardino area of California. She usually sticks to necklaces, bracelets, and the like but does take bespoke orders from time to time for brooch bouquets or to rework family heirlooms into something a little more up to date. Our primary venues at this time are Etsy and craft/art shows.
