• John Dugan aka Beat by Jon D is a professional makeup artist from Baton Rouge, Louisiana . He has 13 years of artistry experience. He is a team member of Baton Rouge Fashion Week as a makeup artist and production team lead. He also is a MAC Cosmetics trained artist. He is part owner of the brand Totally B.E.A.T. which is the acronym for Beautiful, Elegant, Alluring, Transformations. He was a key makeup artist for Major League Gaming World Series Finals 2015. Key makeup artist for Family Services of Greater Baton Rouge Fashion Show. Key makeup artist for Twana Marx Confidence and Couture fashion Expo. Awarded makeup artist for Erna's Summer Fashion Show. Key makeup artist, model ,and dancer for I'am Yogé 2017 Fashion Show. He was the 2017 Grand Marshal, dancer, makeup/ hair artist for the Essence of New Orleans Fashion Show. He has been in healthcare since 2008 and currently enrolled in higher education to obtain his RN BSN to further his career in the field,while mentoring at risk youth in his community Also when he is not beating faces and saving lives. He enjoys modeling, singing and the art form of dance. Trained in jazz, ballet , hip-hop and gymnastics he enjoy sharing his gifts with anyone willing to learn. He is a two time cancer survivor and has over come many life challenges, which is not stopping him from chasing his dreams.
