It all started one rainy day in 2001 in art school at UW Milwaukee....and my friend Alyssa asked me to cut and color her hair for her in return for buying my cup at the house party that night....and here we are 11 years later and I\'ve finished beauty school and had a baby girl and worked in salons where creativity is nurtured and encouraged and every day I try to put myself out there more and more. I now work with event planning companies doing freelance hair and make up, on location, for weddings and special occasions...I recently have met with a representative at the Rock talent agency about booking commercial work through them and have partnered with several brilliant photographers doing hair and make up for their photoshoots. The latest leap I\'ve taken was to buy two bridal magazines that are printed in, and for, my region and emailed their editors about working with them on their next photoshoots. I believe that nothing will be handed to me and I have to not only put myself out there as available to do this, but also must reach out and grab it as it passes by. RAW artists has been an amazing opportunity to meet stellar creative minds and even now, 11 years since that fateful night in college, I know without a doubt that this is only the BEGINNING! thank you
