Visual Art – New York - NYC

I am a native New Yorker and mom of twins. I like to make stuff that you can wear, eat, look at, listen to and interact with. Despite being a middle school band teacher by trade, I've always loved spending my free time making jewelry, pottery, painting, knitting/crocheting, doing henna/mehndi, cooking and playing my oboe! Lately, I have been building my business as a henna/mehndi artist after falling in love with this incredible plant and its relationship with human skin as well as the beautiful motifs associated with it. I've even started painting in the same style for those who want the beauty but can't have their skin drawn on. I also use JAGUA GEL, which is made from the Genipa berry. It is similar to henna but stains black/blue while staying completely safe ("black henna" is bad)!
