I am Shannan Ricketts, Creator of Birdee & Star.
I've always been very artistic (since I was a child) with a very vivid, often quirky imagination. I have a background in photography, film making, cartooning, art and writing. Design is a passion of mine and I live to create!
I enjoy adding a little whimsy and nostalgia wherever possible to my designs. I love everything that I create to tell a story which makes my creations wearable pieces of art.
Each piece is unique and personally handcrafted with their own individual quirks and characteristics. They all represent a little piece of my soul as creativity is my heart's desire.
