Visual Art – Nashville

Born in Indiana and creating art since age 5, it all started when I stole paint from my grandmother and painted a tree in her yard. After that I started painting with Crayola watercolors,it wasn\'t until I was 23 that I upgraded to better quality paints. Drawing with pen, be it Sharpie or Micron, also started early on. Dr. Seuss was my first source of inspiration. With the release of Beetlejuice I became an avid fan of Tim Burton\'s creations, and as I have gotten older, I also found painter, Mark Ryden, and illustrator, Sherri Dupree Bemis, to be great inspiration as well. Now I create illustrations in pen and watercolor out of my home in East Nashville.
