BOO PALA

I am Boo Pala, an artist, a designer, and a recent London College of Fashion graduate. My work puts emphasis on the minimal and masculine whilst at the same time concentrating on the creation of vibrant colours and textures. With my work, I explore the traditional and modern printing techniques. Digital prints and weaving technologies on jacquard fabrics give my collection an edge. My A/W 2014 \"The Matadors of Abstraction\" collection focuses on James Rosenquist’s masterpiece F-111 by highlighting the painting, the artist’s history and Spanish historical and modern architecture (Enric Miralles) in relation to the current socioeconomic climate in Spain. My designs are for individuals who love colours and see garments and shoes as a representation of their joyful characters.
