I have loved fashion since the day I was born. However, I grew up in Nebraska where fashion is not a high priority. Since I did not know how to sew I would glue,staple or tie things together in high school so I could wear something different. When I graduated from high school I went to nursing school and became a nurse. Unfortunately, nursing was not for me. I took advice from a girlfriend of mine to enter into a Hawaiian Tropic contest and maybe I could get out of the state. I followed her advice and the rest is history. I moved to Las Vegas in 2001 and became a swimwear and fitness model. I had a love hate relationship with my job. Designers thought that all girls were the same size. Every photo shoot I would dread because its not a one-size-fits-all world people. In 2009 I started my own bikini line Born4bikinis in Las Vegas. Since the Vegas scene has so many pools and day life I felt it was the best place for my business. After learning how to sew and beating my head against a wall almost everyday I finally figured out my business. Custom Bikinis! There are not two women alike in the world. That is where I am at today. Every women is unique and that is my job to make sure they are comfortable and happy in there bikinis & resort-wear.
