Visual Art – Portland

I'm a paper mosaic artist, hands on crafter of many things, with a love of Portland, other gay artists, and anything Disneyland related. I enjoy using colors whenever I can to express something. I use only Disneyland maps in all my pieces because I love the material and feel closer to the parks when I use them. I grew up in the Hillsboro/Portland area my whole life aside from three years in Hawaii as of 2014. My paper mosaics show a meticulous attention to detail as I hand cut each piece of paper to form landscapes of either city scenes or male erotica. I love lines found in architecture and exaggerated colors that make an art piece pop. I enjoy creating contrast within my paper mosaics. I travel to various craft and art shows displaying my art to potential customers and clients. I've shown in Honolulu, Washington DC, and mostly within Oregon, with pieces in private collections all over the US, Alberta and Toronto, Canada, Germany, and Australia. I belong to an artist's co-op in downtown Portland called "Artistic Portlamd". A lot of people who see my art get interested because they haven't been exposed to paper mosaics before. I like paper mosaics because I can create something unique with my hands, and impressing others by my patience, persistence, dedication, creativity, and style. It's something fresh to them. Something different and unique. Something that I feel I excel in beyond any other art form. Paper mosaics; it's what I do.
