Breiana Autena

Breiana Autena is a photographer originally from Los Angeles, California currently based in Washington, D.C. She is working on receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Photography at Howard University. Breiana began shooting at an early age, immersing herself completely in photography through headshots, landscapes, and her current conceptual work. She is constantly exploring different mediums of art, such as painting and graphic illustrations, as sources of inspiration in her photos. She is working in themes of balance, energy through movement, and the strain of coming to terms with spirituality. Breiana challenges her viewers to see the simple beauty and enjoy the complex range of emotions conveyed by her work.
